This journal page and sketch are the only surviving documents following the Insidious Fire of the early 22nd century. The fires wiped out half of Terra Nova (formerly the Amazon Rainforest). The journal entry references the global migration crisis of the post-Petroleum Age. Historians consider these documents as evidence of attempts to establish new and sustainable societies in the few remaining habitable landscapes.
