In the early Neocene Mass Corruptions, we turned to scarab curators to clean and maintain the data required to fuel our cities. The hidden work of these silenced practices formed a corrective network that is only now being revealed.

This is a unique fossilised specimen showing conjoined Datawaste Beetles in the act of sexual union. Cyborg scarab beetles occupied a critical niche in data waste management, digesting corrupted code and excreting usable data. Such binary acts of sexual hybridity ensured cyborg beetles adapted to the unpredictable evolution of complex system processes.
